Small mountain delight
You arrive and can hardly believe that beyond the centre of Pescasseroli, beyond the big hotels and residences, going towards the ski lifts
that in winter enable you to ski and in summer take you to the mountain tops for an unforgettable hike, there are those curves and the street uphill.
You arrive and suddenly you are in front of what seems to be a marzipan cottage, a small sweet thing. On a hilltop, perched like a wolf howling to the moon,
there is the small hotel Valle del Lupo (Valley of the Wolf), with a very beautiful and reassuring panoramic view in all directions. You enter your room,
you go to the window, it is evening already and the silence is nearly absolute, only interrupted now and then by cowbells.
The small hotel, with two stars but clean and carefully kept, is run by two sisters, born and bred at Pescasseroli who know every tiny detail about the small city
and its inhabitants, its lovers and haters. Congenial and a bit eccentric, if they start liking you, they will let you spend a really unforgettable holiday.
